We receive bequests, donations, grants from other charities, raffles, sales of second hand books and from our collection boxes.
We work closely with and receive generous support from the local business community. Our supporters raise funds for the charity through coffee mornings, lunches and a variety of other fundraising activities.
If you wish to support our medical practice then please give generously.
A major fund raising effort is our Annual Grand Draw. We sell tickets in the surgeries at the flu clinics and at local venues. We are always looking for volunteers to help sell tickets and raise prizes.
For many people, it is important to them that upon their death, their estate is distributed to the family, close friends and charitable causes that they passionately support. Having a Will can ensure your wishes are carried out.

For many people, it is important to them that upon their death, their estate is distributed to the family, close friends and charitable causes that they passionately support. Having a Will can ensure your wishes are carried out.
If you’re considering leaving a legacy gift in your Will to the Caythorpe & Ancaster Medical Equipment Trust), we would always recommend that you speak to a solicitor when making or amending your Will. A legacy gift of any value will make a huge difference to us and enable us to continue our important work in supporting the service provided by the staff of the Caythorpe & Ancaster Medical Practice.
If you already have a written Will but are considering making an amendment or addition, you may well be able to do so by writing a codicil rather than re-writing a new Will.
As the Caythorpe & Ancaster Medical Equipment Trust is a registered charity, a gift to us in your Will would be exempt from Inheritance Tax (‘IHT’). The gift will be deducted from your estate before IHT is calculated, and so reduce the amount of IHT payable. A solicitor will be able to give more detailed advice and guidance on efficient tax planning.
